Subject: [CT Birds] Swallows in Norwalk
We had a nice surprise at 14 Acre Pond in Norwalk this afternoon. In addition to the Common Yellowthroat that had been reported there earlier in the day, we saw 5 Northern Rough-winged Swallows, 2 Tree Swallows and one Barn Swallow. All were actively feeding on the eastern end of the pond. It seems like spring is near.
