Total observation time: 6.75 hours

Official Counter: Jennifer Caughel

Observers: Matt Kaufman, Sharon Sisti

Visitors:
Many people sharing their stories about the birds they are here. Bruce and
Sharon Gray, Sharon Sisti and Matt Kaufman stopped by and contributed to
the count. Thanks Sharon for my Tim's break!

Weather:
The day started out cool with 36 degrees and mostly cloudy conditions.
Throughout the day the wind was light out of the west. In the 2 pm hour it
switched to the southwest and it seemed the rain would be on its way. Light
rain began around 4 pm .

Raptor Observations:
The flight was slow in the first hour with 13 TVs. The next four hours had
a good flight with Sharp shinned,Coopers, Red shouldered and red tails. A
rough legged hawk came through in the 2 pm hour. Possible eagle but to far
for ID.

Non-raptor Observations:
Many flyover blackbirds . Some groups of flyover cormorants. Usual
songbirds singing and eating on the lawn. Three buffleheads on the pond.

Predictions:
Very similar to today. Hopefully the wind will lead to a good flight.
