Weather:
Thick fog covered the south side of the mountain until around 11am, then
hazy and cloudy the rest of the day. Calm winds became a light ESE breeze
as the morning progressed. 29-42 degrees F.

Raptor Observations:
Golden Eagles, 2 adult and 1 immature
Bald Eagles, 1 immature, 1 unaged (distant in the fog)
First bird of the day at 8:45am was a merlin that briefly perched in a dead
snag then chased a flock of goldfinches before continuing down the ridge.
A second merlin landed in a tree for a few minutes in the afternoon.

Most of the raptors were flapping all the way through the hawk watch today.


Non-raptor Observations:
Ravens, fox sparrows, purple finches and pine siskins

Predictions:
Cloudy with temps in the 50's, light SW winds
