Has anyone here seen the storm petrala being reported in Utah Lake. EBird has nothing.

Fall migration is on, the leaves have started changing, and the nights are getting cooler. It’s a great time to get out and see some birds!
Happy birding!

Good morning fellow birders. We have been enjoying the cooler weather and with it some changes in the birds around our neighborhood. The most noticeable has been the return of the wild turkeys to the area around the Orem Cemetery after not seeing them at all during the summer months. If you have seen some interesting migrants or other fun birds close to home, we would like to include them in the Backyard Birds section of the October Newsletter. Please get any items to us by Sept. 28. Thanks! Dan & Leesa Simmons
