I went to Saratoga Co Airport this morning to look for sparrows and was dismayed to see large construction vehicles and signs telling anyone not involved with the construction or the airport to keep out. Fortunately, at Pitney Farm trail, not far away, off of West Ave in Saratoga Springs, I was able to see both a Vesper sparrow and Savannah sparrow singing from a perch. Susan Beaudoin
