Subject: [southbaybirds] Palo Alto Baylands
Today 4-18-2024 I spent some time looking for migrating shorebirds.
Nothing unusual seen with a couple of */Semipalmated plovers/* seen for
a few seconds while */Dowitchers/*, */Western sandpiper/* and some
*/Dunlin/* were present in good numbers.

There were 4 */Clark's grebes/* in the channel next to the boat launch
and at Harriet Mundy pond there was a */hybrid Northern shoveler x Blue
wing teal/*- it maybe the same one seen in previous years.
