Good afternoon birders……. I’m texting from the water district so please excuse any auto corrections. The main ponds is nearly drained! The water left has egrets, herons, bufflehead, gadwalls, coots all fighting for the pooled food supply. The egrets and black crowned night herons are trying to steal each other’s food. Such a sight to see. Spotted and photographed were 2 CASPIAN TERNS. Have a great weekend ahead and good birding.
