Hi Everyone,
This morning I birded the Calero Creek Trail from Hicks Rd, arriving just after 10am. I walked past Santa Teresa Creek which is still flowing, and along a portion of the dry hillside. Highlights included FOS ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER along the creek, BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER in the orchard, and a heard only RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW on the dry hillside. Other notables included, a WILSON'S WARBLER and WARBLING VIREO along the creek, a HOUSE WREN in the orchard, LARK SPARROWS in the model airplane field, TURKEY, QUAIL, lots of TREE SWALLOWS, and a KESTREL.
