Weather: Morning rain showers delayed the start of the count. Got two and a half hours of counting in from the car before rain showers ended the count early. Strong northeasterly winds.
Raptor Observations: A few dozen Turkey Vultures plus small numbers of other expected species. One Osprey, two Bald Eagles, one Cooper's Hawk, one Red-tailed Hawk, and one kestrel. An Osprey with a fish landed in a nearby tree. One harrier hunting the marsh.
New species for season: Great Egret, Sanderling, Caspian Tern
