Subject: [CT Birds] Wood ducks and Mallards
First time for me spotting two Wood Ducks in a tree over the water at Windsor Locks Canal, I presumed they were scouting out a nesting site or watching over eggs. Although it seems early, also saw a female Mallard with about six very new ducklings on the canal. Happy April.
