Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Request for Vega Gull updates
Over the coming few weeks, if anyone goes searching for the recurring Vega Gull at Lower Otay or any other publicly accessible location, it would be greatly appreciated if updates (both positive or negative) be posted here to the listserve. Many members of this listserve group are not part of the WhatsApp group, and many do not use eBird either. For those of us that do use eBird, unfortunately the time delay of eBird reports often makes them unhelpful. Posting to the listserve also has the added benefit of showing up on wider RBA compilations such as Sialia.com, which is helpful for visiting birders.
Happy birding!  --Trysten LoefkeValley Center

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
