I was wondering if anyone else has ever seen this behavior -- I watched a raft of ring-necked ducks diving in the Nepaug Reservoir in Collinsville today and coming up with acorns. They had a hard time swallowing them whole... Has anyone every seen this? I'll post a couple of photos on FB.
