Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Cuba
We recently returned from Cuba following a 12 day birding and culture trip.
We saw 26 of 28 Cuban endemics and 14 West Indies endemics and a total of
133 species.

Our incredible guides, Nils Navarro (author of Endemics of Cuba-a
comprehensive field guide) and Jose Perez were off the charts.

Cuba desperately needs tourism and they put together a fabulous trip for
us and our three friends. The country is beautiful and the people were
gracious despite their extremely difficult situation.

Happy to share information.
