An annual tradition, San Diego Field Ornithologists is hosting another New Year's Day pelagic trip on January 1, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tickets are now $80 each and are now open to the public. There are about 10 spots left. Please email me at <membership...> right away if you want to reserve a space! First come first served!
This pelagic outing is a private charter of the Legacy out of Seaforth Landing on Mission Bay. After confirming your RSVP, please send your check to Membership Chair, Eve Martin and include the name of each person for whom you are purchasing a ticket. Because this is a private charter, we pay for the full price of the boat whether it is empty or full. For this reason, refunds will only be issued if the trip is canceled by the captain or landing. Checks will be held until the event, making it easier to refund if we get weathered out.
Participants should plan to arrive by 7:00 a.m. Participation is limited to 60 people. We will meet outside of Seaforth Sportfishing at 1717 Quivera Road. Parking information: There should be plenty of spaces this trip, but make sure you park in front of the Seaforth building or out on the street. Cars parked in front of the other buildings may be towed.
