Hello Rob -

You are correct that a Rufous Hummingbird is being hosted at a private residence. As of this morning, the bird is still feeding actively. The homeowner has taken steps to make sure the nectar doesn’t freeze and he is committed to keep supporting the bird as long as it keeps showing up. Hopefully, as the extreme cold lets go over the next few days, the bird will continue to survive.
