Stork still present. Close to lake shore drive parking lot feeding along the bank . Note this bird from what i have heard is easily flushed so I am keeping my distance. I can see and photograph on the other side by the gazabo.Terry HurstSantee

Hi all,
Just the messenger as not everyone is on Facebook, but noticed on my Facebook feed in the Photo Birding in San Diego group of an adult Wood Stork photographed at Lindo Lake with yesterday’s date (12/22/24) in the post. I’m not sure which part of the lake it was at, but worth checking to see if it’s still around. Probably the same one that moves around a few places in San Diego County that wasn’t seen by anyone to my knowledge this year and was on private property in San Bernardino County for a while earlier this year.
Good birding and Happy Holidays,
Max Leibowitz
