I am assuming the recreation area, Joannie didn't say but I don't think she mentioned the marina.   She just said it was close to shore and the area looked like a Hurricane hit it. I mentioned the Tornadoes last May may have done the damage. 
I'm going to check the whole area.

A Western Grebe was seen today at Rocky Branch at Beaver Lake by Joannie Patterson about 10 am. 
Seen next to a Common Loon, it had a longer neck than a Horned Grebe. 
Rocky Branch was damaged by the May tornadoes I think because Joannie said it was all but abaandoned and the birds were close to shore for very good looks. 
I'll be going out there tomorrow to look for myself.
