Relocated the Northern House Wren (still getting used to the new name) in the same spot where Chris and I found it on 12/8. At the top of the east-side path near a Bluebird box that the wrens use in the summertime. Also heard two Carolina Wrens (no surprise there), while a Winter Wren piped up and showed well along Kendall Brook right behind the barn complex. Observed 17 species in all, also including a Hermit Thrush. See full eBird list at: https://ebird.org/checklist/S205755516.
Perhaps the biggest surprise, however, was an orange sulphur flitting low in the grass on the east side — in December!
