An excellent article about the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (WRC) appears in the September-October issue of the Minnesota Conservation Volunteer. In 2023, the WRC had 18,808 patients. Executive Director Tami Vogel, her staff and multitudes of volunteers do outstanding work. A sobering note was the 78% mortality rate registered after window strikes.
