This morning I photographed this bird above the Bob Jones Trail near where it joins the footbridge across the San Luis Obispo Creek. My best guess is golden rather than bald eagle because the feathers appear to go all the way to the feet. Input welcome! It was being hassled by a couple of red-tails.
