At about noon today I saw two what I believe to be Ruby Crowned Kinglets along the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail in Chambersburg.
I did not have binoculars with me but the overall size, coloration and wing twitching while perched and foraging make me think these were Ruby Crowned Kinglets.
I don’t recall seeing this species this time of the year before here in Franklin County.
If anyone has any further comments I would appreciate them. Such as what other kinglet sized bird with kinglet coloration would also twitch their wings
