New species for season: Chestnut-sided Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Blue-winged Warbler, Golden-winged Warbler, Hooded Warbler.
Predictions: TOMORROW: POSSIBLE BIG DAY. Morning showers then cloudy. Very warm. High 67F. Winds SE at 10-20mph. Good southerly winds. Raptors and non-raptors should be on the move. The only thing that may hold back the raptor flight is if it ends up being too gloomy and rainy. Southeasterly winds are a headwind and can keep the hawks low for good looks. We are still in the peak time for many raptor species. Don't let the gloomy weather keep you inside. This has the potential to be an EPIC birding day.
SUNDAY: A steady light rain early then cloudy with showers. High 66F. Winds S at 10-20mph. Good winds but rain may prevent a raptor flight. Will keep an eye on it.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy. Warm. High 63F. Winds NW at 5-10mph. Expect light to moderate migration. ======================================================================== Report submitted by David Brown (<davidebrownpa...>) Braddock Bay information may be found at: http://www.bbrr.org/
