Was a beautiful midmorning along the Kaw. Have not been out this season so I probably missed more than I observed. Just recorded 29 species on a relatively short walk along the Kaw.

Yellow-rumped Warbler - 5
Yellow Warbler- 6 singing
Protonotary Warbler - 1 singing
Northern Parula - 1 singing
Blackpoll - 1 singing

Red-shouldered Hawk - 1 calling
Turkey Vulture - 2
Red-eyed Vireo - 2 singing
Red-headed Woodpecker- 3 calling
Northern-rough-winged Swallow - 7
Cliff Swallow - a few but did not seem to be the full colony.

Baltimore Orioles, Warbling Vireos, Carolina Wrens, Great-crested Flycatchers were numerous & singing all along the river trail
