Shannon Valley Open Space was delightful this morning. The *Lazuli Buntings* were having singing wars, and I was treated to eye-level looks at them as they fed on high weeds. *House Wrens, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers,* and *Ash-throated Flycatchers* were all singing. I saw a large group of *Vaux's Swifts* flying overhead - I estimated at least 20. *Red-tailed Hawks* and *Red-shouldered Hawks* were doing aerial displays. This place is a hidden gem!
