Hi Everyone!
This morning I had a little bit of time so I birded Shannon Open Space Preserve <https://scvas.org/self-guided-birding/shannon-valley> which is super close to my house. Some birds of interest were many *Lazuli Buntings*, especially as the trail goes alongside the mustard grass, about 20 *Vaux's Swifts,* a pair of *Wood Ducks* in Guadalupe Creek (which you can see from the paved trail that runs along Shannon Rd), and a *Black-chinned Hummingbird* as I made my way back to my car through the neighborhood. If you do the whole loop it's only 1.5 miles although steep in some sections.
