4/26 Orange.10am.
Very birdy morning at Wepawaug Conservation area. No rarities but lots of
bird song and activity.
2 Wood ducks, a flyover Great blue heron, Belted Kingfisher, some very
vocal American Crows, Titmice, Chickadees, Robins.
Worth it to return in a couple of weeks because 2 years ago there was a
small flock of Black throated blue warblers passing through.
A brief stop at Wright's Pond on the way home had 2 Northern Rough winged
swallows flying over the pond and farm field, plus Wood ducks and Canada
Geese.
