Male, singing in the crabapple tree right outside our kitchen window. This is far and away the earliest date for Rose-breasted Grosbeak in our neck of the woods.
Also still present are at least three Pine Siskins, feasting on sunflower nuggets with a horde of Goldfinches (up to 30 at a time) and three Purple Finches.
