I was able to locate the American coot spotted by Greg yesterday. Initially, it was swimming in the middle of the large pond, but then disappeared into the cattails.
Other birds of note: Virginia Rail; an early, singing Common Yellowthroat; Ruby-crowned Kinglet; rusty blackbird; bufflehead; ring-necked duck
