Early this morning, there was a red-necked grebe, 2 white-winged scoters,
a red breasted merganser and about 50 Bonaparte’s gulls seen from the
Round Lake boat launch. I could not relocate the grebe after a fishing boat
launched, but the scooters did stay put.
The gulls took off, but returned, and the merganser came in afterwards.
