Hi Everyone!
This morning I co-led a beginners trip at McClellan with Peg Alberts. In the native garden area just outside the SCVAS office, we spotted a *Black-chinned Hummingbird*. After McClellan, I checked out my "secret spot" along the Tony Look Trail at Stevens Creek CP and spotted a *MacGillvray's Warbler* in the same location as the bird was last year. Other birds along that same section of trail included *Lazuli Bunting* and *Western Wood Pewee*, both FOSs for me. To get to my "secret spot" park at the Baytree Parking lot and take the Tony Look trail to just past the reservoir where you need to make a sharp left. This trail continues into the trees where it makes a hairpin turn (more like a U). Birds seem to love this section of the trail. Here's the gps: 37.293698, -122.073183. (There is one very steep section.)
