Raptor Observations:
Merlin chasing the swallows at the East Spit in the morning. A few Bald
Eagles hanging around the bay. One female kestrel hover hunting the marsh.
One adult female harrier hunting the marsh.

East Spit: 5 Bonaparte's Gulls, 10 Caspian Terns, 3 Bank Swallows, 80 Tree
Swallows (one with white forehead), 4 Northern Rough-winged Swallows, 5
Barn Swallows, Cliff Swallow, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Brown Creeper, Field
Sparrow.

New species for season: Field Sparrow, Cliff Swallow

Predictions:
TOMORROW: Overcast. High 57F. Winds WSW at 10-15mph. A decent wind,
especially early, but the flight will depend on how much it clears up. If
it isn't too gloomy we could get a decent flight. Expect moderate
migration.

FRIDAY: Considerable cloudiness with occasional rain showers. High 62F.
Winds SSW at 10-20mph. Good winds. Expect moderate to good migration.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy. High 51F. Winds W at 15-25mph. A decent wind
direction, though a bit on the strong side. Expect moderate migration.
