A singing, male-like Baltimore Oriole?!?! Very cool find Daniel and thanks
did the fun information Nancy & Alvaro. I was able to refind the bird - and
the attendant Bullock’s - after looking for nearly an hour. It was a
fly-by, but sang a clear whistling tune before it chattered past. Nearest
the two large snags in this field:
(37.7215819, -122.4179225). Present in the park but not that location we’re
Lazuli Bunting, Black-headed Grosbeak, Red-breasted Nuthatch, and Tree &
Violet-green Swallow.

Happy spring,
Sarah
