Subject: [sbcobirding] Surfbirds at Campus Point
I've been missing Surfbirds all over the place, including at Campus Point, but I've always been checking in the morning at low tide.  This afternoon on an incoming tide, I counted 51 of them on the Point.  Really fun to see.  Other birds of interest included a steady stream of Elegant Terns flying west, a large flock (ca. 70) of Brant heading west, and a few individual Pacific Loons in breeding plumage.
