Visitors:
Jenny Bruce and Jennifer Caughel stopped by and were very helpful.



Weather:
Morning rain ended as this count period began. Moderate to strong winds
with gusts continued all day. Air temperature ranged from 4 - 9 degrees C.
The 100 percent cloud cover began to break up as the count ended.

Raptor Observations:
Small groups of Turkey Vultures began to come through midway during the
count. Bald Eagle, Sharp-shinned, Cooper's, and Osprey also represented in
small numbers

Non-raptor Observations:
Seasonal birds were very active.

Predictions:
Morning rain and afternoon thunder showers are predicted. A better wind
direction, SW is expected so a similar outcome is likely.

This spring only "all volunteer" watch is conducted at Lakeside Cemetery in
Hamburg, NY. It is located on flat lake plain located along the shoreline
of the east end of Lake Erie, about 10 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
