I asked my friend/ kendal resident about her Merlin woodcock report on Eclipse day & she wrote:
Hi Donna
I think the woodcock registered on my Merlin as it was darkening. I was getting bored with the clouds cover of the eclipse so turned on Merlin. I first got a cardinal then song sparrow, robin, then woodcock. Later a couple others appeared.
