Here's some highlights on the John Nicolas Trail today. Black-throated Gray Warbler, Hermit Warbler, several Cassin's, Hutton's and Warbling Vireos, a flock of Townsend's Warblers, and one single Yellow-rump Warbler. Three types of thrushes were present: American Robin, Hermit and Varied Thrush. Three species of wren were found as well: Pacific, House, and Bewick's. Last on the to mention list were a single Bald Eagle and a Red-shouldered Hawk.
Just felt the numbers of birds singing and present were rich and astounding.
