- Comments: "Small, dark backed gull, grayish marked crown, nape, ear coverts and cheek. All black bill gently sloping at the end. Underparts, flanks and neck light gray wash. . Long wings with narrow white edge to secondaries. Partial dark tail band on outer tail on otherwise white tail clearly seen in flight. Coverts appearing gray. Occasionally taking short flights to sea when flushed but returning to the creek mouth in loose association with the other gulls present. Possibly the same LAGU eported at a different location by Jeff Miller on 3//30."
