Subject: [inlandcountybirds] wood stork habits
After not seeing the Wood Stork in recent days, I stopped by Prado dam this
afternoon. Lo and behold, he/she was espied preening on a eucalyptus branch
below the cormorant breeding colony. There are at least 30-40 active
cormorant nests involving two species in the colony, one Great Blue Heron
nest, plus Woodrow.
