Weather:
Partly to mostly cloudy; 43-50 degrees; visibility good to
excellent; winds brisk and westerly, often with a northwest
component, 7-16 mph, gusting to 29 mph

Raptor Observations:
Flight dominated by Turkey Vultures, but 7 other raptor species
were also counted.

Non-raptor Observations:
American Coot, Pied-billed Grebe, 13 Green-winged Teals. Park
staff placed two turtle floats on the pond.

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
