Hi CC,
I will check back soon. Sounds like what I do on my birdability outings:
slow birding, more about behavior than how many and what kind and how many
miles we can race through.
I'll check my private land contacts, but, most of them are in completed
blocks. Louisburg comes to mind. I may have a few leads in Johnston Co.
And, just because I;vve been granted permission, it does NOT mean that
anyone can stop by. I usually introduce one new birder at a time.
CUrious: Who gets this email? Will it be posted in the almost-forgotten
Carolina Bird cClub listserv?
One typo: "If you are Atas-curious" --> "If you are Atlas-curious"
Keeping my fingers cross regarding April; I THINK I will have just one
class, but, I hope they don't give me four morning of teaching a week. If I
get just one class, I take half-day PTO (Paid Time Off) each Mon/Wed so I
use up 40 hours of vacation with no substitutes involved. Just hoping my
mom's scalp heals quickly (she has a bedsore) and my left leg is trying to
avoid trips to the wound care center. It's healing but it is fragile and
has setbacks.
I will send in Rolesville tonight or tomorrow as "Complete".*Why is it so
difficult to find the Atlas Completion Form? Shouldn't that be something
that POPS UP on the NCBA Home Page? *
Good night!
