Today at the north end of Gardner Lake (Lake Rd Bozrah) at least 5 Northern Pintails (4 dr, 1 hen) amongst dozens of Black Ducks and Mallards. Water level is low here giving way to a lot of dabbler action; last week there was also a GW Teal here along with the persistent ~110 Ring Billed Gulls and Bald Eagle.

On Babcock Pond in Colchester, I counted 340 staging Ring-necked Ducks, though quite distant so hard to pick out any oddballs (like the Redhead I had in years past)
