Subject: [CT Birds] Westport morning migrants
Upon hearing there were light north-northeast winds this morning, I headed to Burying Hill Beach to watch for blackbird and kingbird migrants.Although I arrived late(6:30am), there was decent movement and a few surprises.
Highlights include 3 Common Nighthawks,100 Chimney Swifts,1 American Kestrel,38 Eastern Kingbirds,2 Bobolinks,850 Red-winged Blackbirds,10 Yellow Warblers,1 Scarlet Tanger.
