Subject: [CT Birds] Probable Franklin’s Gull North Windham
Earlier this morning around 6:45AM there was a dark hooded gull seen from the Airport Trail at Windham Airport/ Mansfield Hollow Reservoir.

The bird was on the rocky shoreline with 3 Ring-billed Gulls. It was spooked by 3 squawking Great Blue Herons and headed north towards the boat ramp.

Quick description:
Dark hood with large bright white eyerings.
Extensive white at the primary tips.
Slightly smaller tha the Ring-bills
