Subject: [CT Birds] Prelim report 7/19 -Curlew Sand - no
Stratford, Short Beach GC, 5:58am - Looking for 20 minutes, there are still flocks of Semi Sands, Least Sands, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, and some Killdeer, but no sign of the CURLEW SANDPIPER so far. The water level in the pond is higher than yesterday, from the rain, but still good foraging habitat. The park gate is still locked. We’ll keep looking.
