Our 2 hummer feeders need to be filled every other day: 4 female/juvenile RT Hummingbirds in constant motion around the feeders and deck plantings of trumpet honeysuckle, black & blue salvias, cuphea, fuchsia, and wishbone plant. Also at bee balms and butterflyweed. An adult male visits a few times a day, but is not aggressive or territorial.
Have had a juvenile Barred Owl that's been in the neighborhood for about a month and seen frequently during the day. A found pellet had beetle and cricket bits, as well as two different rodent skulls and sets of bones. Seems to be eating well.
