This afternoon Frist Thursday team, on GGRO Hawk Hill had two Rough-legged Hawks fly overs headed to San Francisco.

One is believed to have been a female, seen about 2PM.

The second was a male, seen at 3:00 PM.

Photos taken by day leader Don Bartling of San Anselmo.

Also of interest this GGRO first Thursday team recorded 206 Red-tail Hawks today, all flying over the Golden Gate into San Francisco.

This may be a record for a single day of migrating Red-tail Hawks recorded on GGRO Hawk Hill.

Hey Folks,

Sitting at Clement and 3rd, over the last 35 min at least 10 Red-tailed Hawks (including a pale adult), a Sharp-shinned Hawk, and a bit earlier an American Kestrel passed over all headed S x SW from the Presidio.
