Alas, the Cattle Egret seen earlier at Hammonasset seems to have departed (not on west-end fields either), but there is now a Lapland Longspur with the Horned Larks in the nature-center parking lot.

CATTLE EGRET present Fri. at 11:10AM in Nature Center parking lot (still there when I departed), 8 Horned Larks as well; Pectoral Sandpiper at puddles west of West Beach; on the water: 1 Northern Gannet, 2 Horned Grebes, Red-throated and Common Loons; 1 adult Bald Eagle
