Two of these feathered daffodils were up close and personal by the marsh in the Suffield WMA this morning. A female Kestrel was seen carrying a lengthy stalk of dry grass — possible pre-nesting behavior (comments welcome)? There is no nest box in the Suffield WMA; there are several boxes in the neighboring Southwick WMA.
