Observers:

Visitors:
None that identified themselves.

Weather:
Cloudless blue skies, nonproductive NNW cold wind directly off the lake,
wind speed 4

Raptor Observations:
Slow trickle of Turkey Vultures with 1-4 in a group. Two Northern Harriers
were a nice surprise. The birds of the day were four adult Bald Eagles. The
first twosome of Eagles were soaring very high and passed at 11:30 EDT,
with a track following route 20. The second twosome of Eagles passed the
count site at 1:30 EDT, following the same track as the earlier two.

Non-raptor Observations:
The resident Red-tailed Hawk and a Cooper’s Hawk gave the flocks of
European Starlings a run for their lives, with only the Cooper’s being
successful!

Predictions:
The Buffalo National Weather Service office forecast is for increasing
clouds during the day, high temperatures of near 49F, West wind 7-9 mph.
Should be a moderate flight.
