Yard birds on Rummel St today (recently)
1 Mourning Dove -- 5 on 3/22
3 Anna's Hummingbirds - 2 males, 1 female - resident birds
2 RUFOUS HUMMINGBVIRDS - 1 male, 1 female - infrequently seen, special
today
1 Crow -heard in neighborhood
1 Black-capped Chickadee
12 Bushtits - sometimes more
1 Red-breasted Nuthatch
2 Bewick's Wrens - residents
1 Townsend's Warbler - female, male seen recently - wintering birds
2 Spotted Towhees, sometimes see 3
1 Fox Sparrow - wintering, not seen every day
1 Song Sparrow - resident pair, not seen every day
1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW - special visitor several days this week
12 D-e Junco . Have seen 50 when it snows. One slate-colored wintering.
8 Purple Finches - have heard singing
0 House Finches - have been around
4 Lesser Goldfinches
0 American Goldfinch - saw a male recently
Tulips and Daffodils in bloom.
